Teacher's Pets is a family owned and operated business. The idea actually generated from some friends of the family who were teachers. They urged my mother to use her creative brilliance and start a business. Who would have thought a couple homemade necklaces and pins for teachers would actually develop into a nationally exposed educational supply business. We all knew my mom was amazing, but we had no idea that she had so much creative energy flowing through her body. Almost ten years later we are still going strong.

All of our products are hand cut and hand painted and each of our original designs are exclusive to Teacher's Pets. We take pride in everything we produce and we guarantee that you will be pleased. If you have never seen our things, be careful, because if you love one you will love them all and then soon enough you will be one of our many valued customers that has a necklace for every occasion. We truly believe that teachers are the lifelines of this country so we are doing our best to enhance the learning experience by giving them something extra to keep those children focused. The first time you wear one of our things into the classroom you will be overwhelmed with the adoring students. We add something special to your appearance and the children will recognize and appreciate it.

All of our ideas come from teachers. We are not in the classroom so we don't know what books are most popular or what themes most teachers are concentrating on. Please feel free to let us know if you have any ideas. We count on you to keep us in the educational loop.

I have just a couple of quick tips for you when wearing your jewelry. Please safety pin your necklaces to your shirt to prevent them from banging on desks or children. We also recommend that you keep your things in the classroom. This way you can quickly slip one on when you feel it's appropriate. Lastly I always recommend that you keep each of your Zero the Hero products near your calendar. You are supposed to celebrate every ten days, not just the one hundredth. This way you won't forget.
